Barnett Cemetery
I received the following from a Barnett researcher, but I’ve forgotten who it was. If you recognize this write-up, please let me know. To get this picture I had to cross through about an acre of corn. This only being possible because a very kind neighbor of the cemetery guided me through the corn. She said that until the present owners of the land next to her moved in there was at least a path to the cemetery. This cemetery not only holds the remains of some of the oldest pioneers in the County, they were also soldiers in several wars. Buried there is John Barnett, a soldier in the war of 1812. I am listing below a list of people buried there that was received by my mother from Oscar Cromwell 1959. | Burials |
